Fees and Policies
Therapy is an emotional and financial investment in yourself. Prior to starting therapy, make sure you check your benefits with your insurance carrier. Find out if your insurance covers mental health services.
I am currently an “in-network” participant with Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance. I submit the claim directly to the insurance company and you are responsible for the deductible and co-pays determined by your insurance carrier.
I am considered “out of network” with any other insurance. In those cases I will provide you a “Superbill” which has all the necessary information for you to submit for reimbursement from your insurance plan.
I am also a provider for Lyra Health Inc (Lyra Clinical Associate) for EAP (Employment Assistance Program).
My fees are:
Individual, Couple’s or Online Therapy $ 165.00 for 50-55 min session.
Extended Sessions $ 220.00 for 70-90 minute sessions.
What is the Not Surprise Act?
Under section 2799-B-6 of the Public Health Act, State licensed or certified health care providers, as well as health care facilities, must provide you with a Good Faith Estimate of how much the services may cost you if you do not have insurance or are not planning to use insurance coverage for your services. I will provide you with a GFE prior to starting treatment.
Cancellations
A 24 hours cancelation prior to the appointment is required, while a 48 hours is preferred. If you missed an appointment without canceling 24 hours in advance as is required, you will be charged a No Show/Late Cancelation fee of $100.00. Insurance companies do not pay for missed appointments.
