I am a bilingual: Spanish and English speaking therapist. Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with over 20 years of clinical experience. I have worked with clients who are dealing with mood disorders, anxieties, work-life problems, life transition, grief, relationships problems, gender issues, work-life balance and others. I have experienced working with clients from diverse cultural, socioeconomic backgrounds and cultural identities.
She obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Psychology (Licenciada en Psicología) at Universidad Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asuncion in Asuncion, Paraguay. She immigrated to the US and pursue a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University in Santa Barbara, California. Later, I obtained a Post-Master’s degree in counseling at John Hopkins University. I am Licensed as a Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland.
I have advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples– having completed an externship and core skills work at the Baltimore Washington Center for EFT in Arlington, Virginia and addision with many hours of supervised training. I completed an Advance Trauma Training at the Lisa Ferenze institute.
